This post is not about my trip to Auli but to help other travelers to plan their trip.
Best Season for snowfall - December mid to January mid. 15day plus or minus the new year.
Best Season for skiing - December mid to January end.
How to reach Auli - Bus from Haridwar to Auli or directly by car. No need stay in Joshimath or take the ropeway. Ropeway is shit.
Where to stay - Hotels near parking place or GMVNL Nanda Devi Eco Huts near tower 8.
Things to do -
1. Skiing : If you stay near parking place, take the chair car, reach tower 8 and walk up to tower 10. Skiing happens near tower 10.
2. Trekking : Trek from Tower 10 to Gorson Bugyal.
3. Nothing else : Play around in snow. Slide down in snow while returning from tower 10.
How much time to stay - Stay as much time as you want but you will get bored after 3 days.
